11 June 2022
We'll be having a farm tour at our farm in South Fayetteville on Saturday June 11th at noon. We tried having a set number of tours that you could sign up for on the website, but there was some kinda of glitch...ugh. We have nearly 900 households signed up for home delivery our so we're worried we'll get swamped! Please shoot us an email and let us know that you'll be coming with how many in your family. To limit the number of folks, the tour is open only to those who have placed an order with us (with the exception of members from the newly formed Weston Price Foundation Chapter). Feel free to bring your family (we know some of ya'll have large families!) & a friend or two...please just bring one vehicle. Parking space will be really limited due to the recent rains
The address is 3108 West Pear lane, Fayetteville, AR. Immediately after you turn off Hwy 265, you'll see a double grey gate just past some feed bins on your right. Someone will be there to help you get parked. Please carpool if you can.
It'll be a simple farm tour covering our family's pasture poultry production/sustainable ag, Ozark Ecosystems, etc. We will be doing a bit of walking on slightly uneven ground (out in a pasture). The tour is free to family/friends who have previously ordered our products. Normal Arky hazards like ticks, poison ivy, etc are in play - so plan accordingly. We suggest closed toe shoes (chiggers are out!) & bug spray, especially on the kiddos.
Participants who have poultry of their own - PLEASE PLEASE wear clean shoes & clothes that have not been around any poultry in 48 hrs & have been washed. So if you did chores that morning with your hens, wear different boots & clothes out to our farm. We know there are a lot of our customers with backyard birds, which we love, but there is an extremely serious/contagious Avian Influenza outbreak in US, including our area.
No pets please - marked service animals are allowed of course
When: Noon
Where: 3108 West Pear Lane, Fayetteville, AR 72701 (Also called CR 202)
Who: Families who have ordered via the ATC Farm website
We hope to see you there on Saturday! It's gonna be fun!
