A unique heirloom eating experience. We were asked to raise some European broiler genetics by an international poultry company this summer. These are a brown feathered, slow-growing European meat bird that produces a different meat birds that makes an eating experience of years ago. This is the "spring chicken" of decades ago - less meat, more flavor. The longer growing time means a richer, more developed flavor & a little higher cost to make up all the extra days tending & moving these birds on pasture.
